At the moment, SynSciComm LLC specializes in graphical abstracts, diagrams and science figures that communicate concepts in basic biomedical science. These include a wide range of fields including but not limited to immunology, cellular biology, molecular biology, physiology, neuroscience, cancer biology and virology.

The cost of any given project depends on the its complexity and preferred deadline. For expedited projects, the cost may incur additional fees. Following the initial consultation, we provide an estimated cost based on the discussed details.

Q Do you have any stock scientific illustration available?

SynSciComm LLC is currently in the process of creating a library of stock images. At this time, finalized images are not yet available.

Q Who owns the copyright to the illustrations?

The illustrator owns the copyright to the artwork. Ownership of the copyright can be transferred in its entirety, which is known as a "transfer of copyright," or more commonly, it can be sold separately with specific conditions, a practice referred to as "licensing." The license we offer is typically comprehensive and designed to meet the needs of the client in most situations. For example, if you request a scientific figure for a manuscript, the license would also cover other uses such as a conference poster, lectures, presentations, grants.
